I think it is our ages and the circle of friends we have. Nasty diseases seem to creep up on our friends, now, and there are fewer places to hide. It seems every time I speak to my Mum, someone she knows has passed over.

Oh dear, hang in there for her. It is age, I'm calling mine a mid life crisis as we all seem to go through that one one way or another. Purple Dragon, you're right, there are fewer places to hide, that's why we are thinking about getting out of the rat race. It's either disease or divorece for us for the next few years, then we become grandparents and then we die!

There is always good stuff out there somewhere, we just never know when and where it's coming from ('course, that also goes for the crap, but let's forget about that for now).
