Woke up at 3:30, did the yoyo thing for a couple of hours (get up, read for half an hour, back to bed, try to get to sleep for half an hour, get up, watch telly for half an hour, back to bed...) till the alarm went off at 5:30, after that, of course, I felt I COULD have gone back to sleep, but at my last visit to the clinic I was told not to let myself do that as we are trying to train my brain to sleep to a regular pattern.
So, came on to check my emails and found I had 32 new messages, ALL of which were spam!!!
Was trying to decide whether I am getting the full 6 and a half hours sleep half the time, think it's probably only about a third.
well, it has to get better.... doesn't it?

sleep,sleep,sleep..that's all i do on weekends....difficult for me to keep awake... yawn.....
i was up too, but this time it was my daughter that got me up. she's five, and she'd had enough sleep by this point to be wide awake and wanting to act out scenarios with her guinea pig teddies...it must have been 5.30 before she, and two soft toys were sufficiently sleepy to zonk out again.
which leaves me feeling a bit...
dull around the edges...

Having littlies around really doesn't help.
Mine are now big and ugly enough to look after themselves. In fact, over the summer, I've quite often overlapped with the son (20), he would still be on his computer in the dining room when I got up.
But he starts work tomorrow, so that will have to stop.
well, woke up last night, turned over and managed to get back to sleep again.
sweet, blissful relief!
and i am still not taking the tablets either. i am going to establish the routine you suggest should i continue to wake, because agree that i need to train my body back to sleep.
thanks.

Hope it helps! It's not easy, though.
I'm going back to the clinic in September, I'll let you know what she says.
