Wow! That is excellent! I now know I appreciate a post-modern high-kitsch, subversive cult - Much more interesting than merely being another Archers' Addict! :)) :)) :))

You and me both!!!
I don't even want to comment on recent developments...
though the wedding plans are jolly, and Joe coaching Jill on how to be evil was pretty good too.
Maybe she'll get into the part by imagining Ruth - when she finds out what's been going on, which can only be a matter of time!

great idea! Mind you, (Whoops! I'm coming over all Welsh! lol), she was pretty mean when Phil paid too much attention to Ruth's widowed mother... :))

those Geordie women eh, heart breakers all!
Sorry, Kanda's fault that I am delving back into history... (who comments on a post after 5 months?)
Notice how, in typical Borsetshire fashion, the Sam thing has faded back into the blue - along with Ed's crack addiction - never to be mentioned more?
Of course, the same can't be said of Siobhan and sprog - fair play to my mate Kate, who predicted all this as soon as S was on a few weeks back looking pale and drawn.
great histrionics from Jenny on Thursday, she must have really enjoyed that, such a nice change from making coffee!

Don't agree Sam has faded - I think David's over-reaction and the tentative rebuilding of relationship has been incredibly drawn out. Although both Ed's and Alastair's addictions both gone quiet.
I have friend who wondered if Gill's over-enthusiasm for being nasty was early onset of Alzheimers or similar affecting personality, but all gone quiet so perhaps not...
Must admit I didn't suss the Siobhan storyline and was delightfully gobsmacked by it.

I wouldn't have done if it hadn't been for Kate pointing it out - though she didn't twig about Ian being gay (or come to think of it, maybe that was you!)
Maybe it has been drawn out, but you just know that everything is going to be hunky-dory again. Maybe that's the thing. In real life (perish the thought that we should consider the Archers to be distinct from 'real life'! ;) , the extreme reaction would not have lasted so long, but the niggles would be there for much, much longer.
But I'd actually forgotten about Alistair until you mentioned him, which goes to show how successfully that's been buried!
Shouldn't knock it though, it's not as if I would ever be capable of writing anything like that!
